I recently received this in the mail:

I have to admit I teared up a little.  This girl is like my little sister & she is GRADUATING! So, just get ready for some sweet sentimental memories.

Becky was the first person I met when I moved to my new house at the age of 4.  She lives two houses up the street from me & I have made that walk to her house&back billions of trillions of times.

We have been best friends for 15 years.  The only time I can ever remember us fighting, was over Barbie dolls/Bratz dolls.  We just don't fight.  One of my favorite things about Becky is that I know I can trust her with anything.  She knows more about me than probably anyone.  We frequently have long talks, where we just spill our guts to each other.  I know she is always there for me, & I am always there for her.  My best memories from any ward activity/ girl's camp involve her.  Her laugh is infectious.  I can't imagine growing up on 474 East without having her a walk away.  

I am extremely grateful to have her in my life, she is such a blessing.  

I can't believe that she will be graduating in 23 days & moving on to better things.  Many times she has expressed interest in going to hair school & I think this is a perfect place for her.  She is creative & dedicated to anything she does.  Whatever she does she WILL succeed.

A note to her:  Beck, I realize I am only 4 months older than you, but I feel somewhat motherly towards you.  I am so proud of everything you have done, and I am so lucky to have you as a friend.  I hope you realize you're stuck with me for the rest of your life.  So just be prepared for a future filled with exciting new adventures with me!! I love you so much, you are truly amazing!!

It's simply how we do things.

scumbag immune system.

Alright, I've known for a long time that I am accident prone.  The proof of that comes in my 15 hospital-visit-inducing accidents since the fifth grade.  But never have I labeled myself as someone with a weak immune system... Until now I guess.  It's been nice weather, I have had pretty good sleeping patterns, & haven't been doing anything that would cause illness.  However, my immune system decided to take a vacation I guess.  I don't know what dying feels like, but as far as any experience I have goes, this feels pretty close.  Starting from my toes, my entire body aches, I am experiencing hot&cold flashes, my throat is seizing up, & very sore, my head, the entire thing, feels like it is going to explode, especially near my forehead, & back of my neck.  I have taken pain reliever, vitamin C, & NyQuil.  Nothing has helped so far.  Is it too much to ask for to just feel better? It's spring for goodness sakes! I am supposed to be enjoying the warm weather, getting a tan, wearing cute spring clothes, & loving baby animals.  Not wanting to be in bed all day, crying, & wearing sweats&hoodies...  If anyone possess any knowledge of how to cure me, please come forward.  Or if anyone just wants to come bring me soup, a good movie, & sit with me for a while, that'd be very much appreciated.  Although, I can't say it'll be pleasant.  This feeling awful has really affected my mood.  I have been catty to people I barely know & had complaints from people I do know that I don't seem happy anymore.  Well, I've made myself some chicken noodle soup & I think I feel the NyQuil kicking in.  So here is to hoping these drugs cure me.  Goodnight.

It's the Monday before everyone leaves.  Kelli & I decide to get revenge on a boy that has been causing problems within our FHE group.  

He finally got all the saran wrap off.

After a couple days of nothing happening to us, we thought we were safe.  Nope, we found this on Thursday.

They had stolen my shoes, Melanie's shoes, & a little wooden cat outside our door & returned them like this. 

Turns out they were filled with shaving cream too... Melanie & I decided it wasn't worth it, so we threw out our shoes.

So we did this.

& we took their shoes, because they took ours. 

The next morning, this is what we woke up to.

 Thirty packets of Ramen Noodles & popcorn fell into our apartment.

During they day while Alex's car was unlocked Kelli princess sticker bombed it.

Then that night, we made our final move.

 

 Attacked his car with glitter, the herpes of the craft world.  Good luck getting that all out! 

Prank war made the last week of finals bearable. & clearly Kelli & I won.

Sometimes I accidentally fall asleep from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, & then I can't sleep when normal people are sleeping... So I make rice at 3:59 in the morning.

I can cross off another thing on my bucket list yeah!!!

I've lived in Utah my whole life, & just barely hiked the Y for the first time last night.

I love Alan for putting up with my complaining on the way up.  

Not all of us can have long legs & be super star cross country runners,

but we made it :)
